Jeni Crone Griffin is a Mother, Artist and Educator living in Chicago, Illinois. She holds a BFA with an Emphasis in Writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a MA in Teaching from Columbia College Chicago, and a MA in Studio Practice (hybrid) from Teachers College, Columbia University (New York). Her work explores themes of nostalgia, the natural world, and images of every-day life. As a teacher in the Chicago Public Schools, her art practice is constantly shifting to inform her teaching practice and vice versa. Her work has most recently included the processes of collage, film photography, digital illustration, and 2D fabrication technologies.Â
